Immunizations

Students with a Programmatic Admissions Requirement to submit vaccination records must follow the documentation guidelines below.

  • Radiography students’ vaccination records are due within 14 days of the student’s start date in order to remain eligible to continue in the program. Required vaccinations include:
    • Hepatitis B Vaccination
    • Measles, Mumps, and Rubella (MMR) Vaccination
    • Varicella Vaccination
    • Tetanus, Diphtheria, and Pertussis (Tdap) Vaccination
      • The Tdap vaccination must be current and not exceed ten (10) years from the date of administration. If a student’s Tdap vaccination has expired (beyond 10 years), the student is required to obtain a Tdap booster at their own expense and submit updated documentation within the required timeframe.
  • Dental Assistant, Medical Assistant, and Pharmacy Technician students’ vaccination records are due within 90 days of the student’s start date, unless otherwise noted. Failure to submit records within the required timeframe will result in a Conduct Violation. Please refer to the Conduct Policy for additional information. Required vaccinations include:
    • Hepatitis B Vaccination
    • Measles, Mumps, and Rubella (MMR) Vaccination

Externship sites or employers may require additional vaccinations for students to be considered for externship or graduates for employment. Students are responsible for meeting all vaccination requirements set by their assigned externship site. For instance, students may be required to provide current COVID-19 and Influenza (flu) vaccinations prior to attending externship. Exceptions will not be granted.

Northwest Career College (NCC) is not financially responsible for any vaccinations required by programmatic admissions or externship sites.
