The administrative staff made getting enrolled super quick and easy, and I really appreciated how clearly they helped me choose the class that was the best fit for me.

The phlebotomy instructors are truly one of a kind—very knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely supportive. You can tell they actually care about their students. The class is also full of talented people, and it’s been such a great experience learning from both the instructors and everyone around me.

I’m really glad I chose this program and would definitely recommend it to anyone thinking about getting into phlebotomy.

I had a great experience with Bill Balderas, from having trouble with my Fafsa application he guided and helped me all throughout the process. I would say he is if not one of the best advisors out there, I really do appreciate everything he did for me.

Online Program FAQ

Q. How does NCC provide course materials to students?

Students enrolled in online programs at NCC receive their laptops by mail. All course materials, including digital textbooks, assignments, and other learning resources, are delivered through the college’s learning management system. This streamlined digital access ensures students have everything they need to succeed right at their fingertips.

NCC's online programs consist of live virtual classes, pre-recorded class sessions, or a combination of both, depending on the program of study.

Yes. Live virtual class sessions or live virtual office hours provide students with the chance to engage directly with instructors and classmates. These sessions occur at least once a week and support active participation, questions, and real-time feedback.

Recorded lectures are available on demand, allowing students to study and review course content at their own pace. However, recordings of live virtual sessions are limited to select lessons, so students are strongly encouraged to attend live classes whenever possible for the best learning experience.

Students have weekly opportunities to interact with their peers through live virtual classes and participate in written discussion boards throughout each term. While group projects are not a standard part of the curriculum—allowing students more flexibility to complete work on their own schedules—collaborative discussions and peer engagement are an important part of the learning experience.

Yes. All pre-recorded lectures, assigned readings, and multimedia content are available 24/7 through NCC’s learning management system, Canvas. This ensures students can access their coursework whenever it fits their schedule.

Yes. Students regularly engage in written discussion boards with their classmates as part of each course. For more direct communication, they can also use the messaging system within Canvas to reach out to one another for individual discussions about class topics or assignments.
