In order to obtain a traditional law degree, you have to complete four years of undergraduate study and apply for entrance into a law school, which can be very competitive and will take another three to four years to complete. With a paralegal studies degree, you can earn an associate's or bachelor's degree and begin working in your career as soon as you finish your degree.
