Active Scholarships and Credits

Special Populations Scholarships

All in The Family Scholarship – $1005

In an effort to support members of the NCC community who refer their family members, NCC has created the All in The Family Scholarship. This scholarship is designed to increase accessibility of post-secondary education and decrease out of pocket costs for this population of individuals.

Beyond Barriers Scholarship – $4500

This scholarship is available for any student who is experiencing financial barriers impacting their access to Federal Financial Aid. Please note: Students must be in good standing with their loan servicer for any previous Title IV loans used. Students in default do not qualify for this scholarship.

Dual Enrollment Scholarship – $3749

This scholarship is available for any student who enrolls in both a Diploma and Certificate level program concurrently.

Early Independence Scholarship – $2505

To support students in their pursuit of higher education, NCC has created the Early Independence Scholarship. This scholarship is designed to increase accessibility of post-secondary education and decrease out of pocket costs for students who qualify for a dependency override.

First Responder, Law Enforcement, & Security Personnel Scholarship – $2505

To support members of law enforcement, first responders, security personnel, and their families in their pursuit of higher education, NCC has created a First Responder and Law Enforcement Scholarship that is available to all prospective students enrolling in an Associates or Diploma level program with qualifying work experience.
Note: Employment verification is required and must be submitted as a letter on company letterhead or an email from an official employer email address.

Future Legal Leaders Scholarship – $1005

To better support individuals working in the legal field in their pursuit of higher education, NCC has created the Future Legal Leaders Scholarship. This scholarship is available to all prospective Diploma and Associates students with qualifying work experience. This scholarship is designed to increase accessibility of education and decrease out of pocket costs for these professionals.

Halfway to a Degree Scholarship – $510

In an effort to support continued education, this scholarship was created to decrease out of pocket costs for students who enroll and matriculate in an administrative program at NCC. This scholarship is not available for super terms.

Healthcare Heroes Scholarship – $1005

To better support healthcare workers in their pursuit of higher education, NCC has created a Healthcare Heroes Scholarship that is available to all prospective Diploma and Associates students with qualifying work experience. This scholarship is designed to increase accessibility of education and decrease out of pocket costs for these professionals.
Note: Employment verification is required and must be submitted as a letter on company letterhead or an email from an official employer email address.

High School Graduate Scholarship – $1005

This scholarship is available for any students who graduate(d) or earn(ed) a GED not sponsored by NCC in the nine months prior to their enrollment start date who enroll and start in any program between 1/1/2026 and 12/31/2026.

Sponsor a Student Scholarship – $510

This scholarship is available for any currently attending, alumnus, or employee of NCC to award to one friend or family member to support lifelong learning.

Tuition Commitment Scholarship – $510

To support students who are paying their full tuition cost in full in one payment prior to matriculation, NCC has designed this scholarship to help offset the financial burden on the student.

WIOA Scholarship – $2010

As a method of easing the pathway to enrollment for students who are working with WIOA to receive funding for school, the “WIOA Scholarship” was created.

NCC Graduate Scholarships

Alumni Scholarship – $2505

This scholarship/credit combination is available to any NCC alumnus who enrolls in an additional program of study at NCC after two years from their graduation date.

Business Administrative Assistant to Business Administration Scholarship – $1725

This scholarship is available for any alumnus of NCC’s Business Administrative Assistant program who enrolls and matriculates into NCC’s Business Administration program.

Criminal Justice Professional to Criminal Justice Scholarship – $1725

This scholarship is available for any Criminal Justice Professional program graduates who are enrolling into the Criminal Justice program.

Dental Assistant + Dental Admin Assistant to Healthcare Administration Scholarship – $1725

This scholarship is available for any alumnus of NCC’s Dental Assistant Diploma and Dental Administrative Assistant Certificate program who enrolls and matriculates into NCC’s Healthcare Administration program.

Information Technology to Information Technology Associates Scholarship – $1725

This scholarship is available for any Information Technology diploma program graduates who are enrolling into the Information Technology associates program

Legal Assistant to Paralegal Scholarship – $1725

This scholarship is available for any alumnus of NCC’s Legal Assistant program who enrolls and matriculates into NCC’s Paralegal Studies program.

Medical Billing and Coding to Healthcare Administration Scholarship – $1725

This scholarship is available for any alumnus of NCC’s Medical Billing and Coding program who enrolls and matriculates into NCC’s Healthcare Administration program.

Medical/Dental Administrative Assistant to Healthcare Administration Scholarship – $1725

This scholarship is available for any alumnus of NCC’s Medical Administrative Assistant or Dental Administrative Assistant program who enrolls and matriculates into NCC’s Healthcare Administration program.

Medical/Dental Assistant to Healthcare Administration Scholarship – $2300

This scholarship is available for any alumnus of NCC’s Medical Assistant or Dental Assistant program who enrolls and matriculates into NCC’s Healthcare Administration program.

Recent NCC Graduate Enrolling in a Certificate Program Scholarship – $1000

This scholarship is available for any students who graduated from an NCC program in the past and is attempting to complete a certificate program at NCC.

Recent Graduate Scholarship – $4005

This scholarship is available to any NCC alumnus who enrolls in an additional program of study at NCC within two years from their graduation date.

“Stackability” Of Scholarships

Nearly all of the above-listed scholarships are combinable, meaning that a student can utilize more than one of these scholarships/credits per enrollment. However, each program offered at NCC has an established, maximum institutional scholarship amount awarded. This amount is determined by the program credential awarded. Please see the below maximum institutional scholarship amount awarded broken down by program credential:

Certificate – $1005
Massage – $3015
Diploma – $5010
Associate – $6015

Scholarships are enrollment specific. This means a student can use each scholarship to its full amount for each new enrollment at NCC.

Phlebotomy Technician Program Scholarship/Credit Eligibility

The only credit or scholarship that Phlebotomy Technician students are eligible for is Previous NCC Graduate Enrolling in a Certificate Program Scholarship and Tuition Commitment Scholarship
