Northwest Career College is pleased to report that all of our student body has returned to campus! We continue to monitor the updates and guidance provided by the Center for Disease Control, the CDC, on a regular basis and continue to follow their direction as it pertains to colleges and personal health and well-being when dealing with COVID-19.

Northwest Career College has implemented a plan to address COVID -19 on our campus sites. We will need your help, however, in keeping everyone healthy and safe.

As many of you are aware, on late Tuesday evening, 7/20/2021, the Clark County Commissioners held an emergency session to discuss the surge of COVID-19 cases in Clark County. During this session, they approved new measures that require all employees (whether fully vaccinated or not) to wear masks in indoor “public spaces.”

NCC has determined that our institution’s “public spaces” are defined as:

  1. Indoor Common Areas (i.e., Entrances, Hallways, Breakrooms, Restrooms, Massage Clinic, Pearson Vue, etc.)
  2. Classrooms
  3. Offices in which non-employees are present (i.e., Prospective Student Meetings and Current Student Meetings)

As such, effective 7/22/2021, NCC will require all employees, students, and guests of the campus to wear masks in any of these “public spaces.”

We will continue to update you in this space as we follow the guidance of the CDC and the requirements put forward by our local and state governing bodies.

The best and only way through a challenge of this nature is with complete transparency and commitment to doing the right thing by keeping everyone safe and healthy. And that is exactly what you can expect from Northwest. Please know that Northwest Career College is here for you today and will be here for you going forward. On behalf of everyone at Northwest Career College…Stay safe. Stay healthy. Take good care.
