Q. What should I do to begin the admissions process?

Start by submitting the request for information form on this page today! One of our admissions team members will reach out to you shortly to set up a phone call or a campus tour. This will also give you the opportunity to talk to our instructors, staff, and financial aid officers in more detail about which program is right for you.

Q. Can I apply online?

Yes! Just fill out the Request For Information form, and one of our admissions counselors will call you after the application has been received.

Q. When is the best time to visit the campus?

Northwest Career College holds classes Mondays through Fridays in both the mornings and the evenings. The admissions team is available throughout the day to take you on a tour of the campus.

Q. Are there any admissions requirements at Northwest Career College?

To be admitted to Northwest Career College, students must have proof of High School Graduation or an Equivalency (GED, HiSET, etc.). If you are pursuing our Business Administration, Criminal Justice, Healthcare Administration, Legal Studies, Paralegal Studies, or Pharmacy Technician programs, you will be required to take a short entrance exam. Additional document requirements include a Valid Government-Issued ID and a Social Security Card (If applicable to the program).

Q. If I have previous educational or professional training in a cetain field can I be credited for that?

An applicant with previous training or related work experience may be issued credit for courses and tuition. Credit will only be given on the basis of a written evaluation by an authorized school official. Credit may not be issued for more than 50% of course work

Q. Am I allowed to sit in on a class or two to see if it is right for me?

Of course! After touring the campus, please ask your admissions counselor to set up a date for you to audit any of our classes.

Q. What if I want to enroll in a program but I’m not 100% sure it’s right for me?

No problem. Northwest Career College allows you to attend class for 10 days before you officially enroll and financially commit to the school. This trial period exists so you have a stress-free opportunity to see if Northwest is the right fit for you.

Q. What are my financial aid options for Northwest Career College?

Financial aid is available to those who qualify. For more information, go to our Financial Aid page under the Students tab. Additionally, you can set up an appointment with one of our financial aid officers to discuss your specific financial needs.

Q. Does Northwest Career College accept International Students?

Yes! Northwest admits International Students with the following requirements: students must have a high school diploma and their high school transcript. If you are pursuing your associate’s degree in Paralegal Studies or Criminal Justice, you will be required to take a short entrance exam.
