Biography

Denisse is one of our graduate success stories. After leaving her role as a Department Team Leader at Walgreens, she pursued her passion for healthcare and graduated from Northwest Career College in 2013 as a Medical Assistant. After graduation, she worked in a local OB/GYN office, where she strengthened her clinical skills before returning to NCC in 2017 as a Medical Assistant Program Instructor.

Originally from Puerto Rico, Denisse grew up in Grand Rapids, Michigan. She later relocated to Las Vegas with her husband and two children to support her husband’s career in culinary management.
