Tim Thompson
Financial Aid Officer II & New Student Experience Specialist
Born in Cadillac, Michigan, Time grew up in Washington state and moved to Las Vegas in 2007. His main impetus for moving was to be in a warm climate, Tim was ready to be away from cold weather.
Having gone to high school in Kennewick WA, Tim studied Computer Science at Columbia Basin Community College and has spent most of his career in call centers specializing in customer service and various areas of employment such as people management, data analytics, and staffing.
A member of our dedicated Financial Aid department, Tim loves the fact that we provide actual training before new starters start work here. In the past several years, all positions Tim has been in have been a “learn as you go” environment in which leaves you wondering if you are doing things right.
On the weekends, Tim loves to travel, enjoys doing yard work, and indulges in his passion for DIY projects.
