After a successful career in entertainment production, Melanie decided she wanted to make a difference in people’s lives and move into the healthcare field. Having started as a Clinical Administrative Assistant for an outpatient dialysis clinic, Melanie found it to be the most fulfilling role she had ever held, so she decided to return to school and become a Master of Health Administration.
Having graduated with a B.A. in Communications and Public Relations from UNLV and a Masters in Health Administration from the University of Phoenix, Melanie joined us as a Medical Administrative Assisting Instructor and now look forward to being able to help students reach their professional goals while teaching them how to elevate the patient experience.
In her spare time, Melanie enjoys hiking with her dogs, drawing, painting, and sculpting.
