Shelly is a Kansas City girl who graduated from Grand Island Sr. High School in Grand Island, Nebraska before moving on to earn her bachelor’s degree in Health Care Management from Colorado Technical University in 2013.
Having spent twenty-one years in the field of healthcare and specializing in medical billing and coding, Shelly joined Northwest in order to share her experiences and knowledge with the next generation of healthcare professionals.
In her spare time, she can be found enjoying the great outdoors, quietly reading a book, or enjoying a good history documentary as part of her goal to learn something new every day she is alive. In her words “Life is too short to waste your time not being the best you can be!”
