Nancy Ferrante, C.B.C.S.

Nancy began her career as a Medical Assistant in 1979. From there, Nancy mastered many other areas of the medical field. She spent 35 years in Ohio, building a successful medical practice with the same Physician until his retirement in 2014. During that time she managed five practices, billed for twenty-seven Skilled Nursing facilities, obtained an X-ray machine operator’s license and opened a medical billing business specializing in Podiatry.

Despite training many employees over the years, Nancy never imagined herself teaching until she joined Northwest as our Program Chair for the Medical Billing and Coding program. Since then she’s embraced a new passion in life, loves meeting new students every month and takes the greatest satisfaction in guiding that one student, who feared they would never make it, into landing a great job in the field, helping realize their dream in the process.
