A loving and caring person who loves to spread positivity and spiritual love to anyone and everyone around her. Lavonta has a love for helping people in and around her community, which is why she volunteers with the AFSP (American Foundation for Suicide Prevention) and BLOC-HIV (Building Leaders of Color-Living with HIV) as a field advocate.

A member of our Medical Assistant Department, Lavonta loves working at NCC because it gives her the opportunity to help people change their lives for the better, being a guiding light as they embark on a new journey into their purpose in life.

In her spare time, Lavonta can be found traveling both domestically and Internationally, being a foodie, going to my nephews and niece’s sports events, being with family having cookouts or just chilling at home watching movies. She also enjoys being by the water and visiting historical points of interest and museums.
