Fernando Herbert, B.S.

Spanish Language Consultant

B.S. Ed. City College of New York

At an early age, Fernando moved from San Pedro de Macorís in the Dominican Republic to NYC to raise a family and begin his teaching career. Now at the young age of 80, he is still passionate about educating young minds, bringing his years of experience and his Master’s Degree in Education to bear on his students.

In his spare time, Fernando enjoys reading, crossword puzzles, playing the slots at one of Las Vegas’s many casinos, and indulging in good music. He loves that his position at Northwest allows him to continue with his love of teaching and have an impact on the next generation of NCC graduates.
