Camila grew up on a mango farm in Costa Rica, moving to the United States when she was 13 years old and then to Vegas in order to join the NCC team.
Having attended Piedra Vista High School in Farmington, NM, Camila earned her BA at the
The University of New Mexico in Albuquerque and her AAS at San Juan College in Farmington, New Mexico.
Camila’s personal passion is to give back the kindness that was shown to her when she was a scared 13-year-old in a new country. The faculty at the schools she attended made her feel like she could do anything regardless of any hardship she was facing. Camila wants the students that she helps to feel the same way.
For Camila, the best thing about working at NCC is the environment. It is so welcoming and friendly, she already feels like part of the family.
On the weekends, Camila can be found painting, reading, and hanging out with her cats.
