Anna Stein, A.S. , B.S.
Born in Bangkok; Thailand to an Air Force family, Anna moved to Las Vegas when her father got assigned to Nellis Air Force Base and decided to retire here.
Anna attended Las Vegas College and obtained an Associate’s Degree in Paralegal Studies. In furthering her education, she went to Nevada State College and obtained a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology with a minor in counseling.
She is currently attending Arizona State University to get a Master’s Degree in Behavioral Sciences and then will work to get her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology.
Having worked in the legal field for over 20 years, Anna has extensive experience of working for private law firms, the District Attorney’s Office, Family Court, Probate Court, District Court, Federal Court, Specialty Courts, and the Regional Justice Center.
She now works as part of our Legal Studies Department and enjoys the supportive environment here at NCC.
She feels that this type of environment is essential for an instructor to relay that same type of feeling to the students since their success cannot be obtained without their wonderful and supporting instructors and staff to help guide them towards their goals.
Anna has a diverse range of hobbies and can often be found reading or viewing case law for various states and read state and federal rules and regulations along with international laws.
She is also working towards obtaining her pilot’s license.
