GED Classes - Pearson VUE Testing Center

Northwest Career College has now teamed up with Pearson VUE and is now a registered Pearson VUE testing center.

If you're thinking of enrolling at Northwest Career College and do not have a high school diploma, you should consider enrolling in our GED classes. We're committed to helping you find a future that works for you and to make that happen you have to have education. Education starts with either a high school diploma or a GED. With a GED you may enroll at Northwest Career College and start down the path to success.

But, your future is not guaranteed; you will have to work hard to earn your way. We can help you pass the GED through our GED Classes. We teach the full course curriculum, including sections over Language Arts/Writing, Social Studies, Science, Language Arts/Reading and Math. It's not an easy haul to make but if you're serious about becoming a student at Northwest Career College you will need to first pass the GED.

The GED test allows us to get a complete breakdown on how you handle decision-making tasks such as sentence structure, reading comprehension and math in a timely manner. The test only has one correct answer per question, so students are taught how to assess the test and make the correct choice. The correct answer is typically the one that makes the most sense. The GED will allow us to make sure that you are competent enough to enroll in classes at NWCC. Our faculty will give you the skills and knowledge necessary to move forward in your life.

Another key to success in the medical field is understanding mathematical equations. You will be responsible for developing these skills along with learning equations that will help you throughout your career. You must grasp what the formula means, how it works and how to apply it. It's not enough to just know the formula; you have to have an understanding of its practical application. The GED provides the formulas for you, but we want to make sure that you understand and can easily make sure of what you've learned.

Our faculty will help you with the timed portion of the test by putting you against the clock. It's a good idea to wear a watch while you take the test in order to keep an eye on the time. Do not use a watch with a calculator. Some sections of the test allow for a calculator but some are not allowed on certain mathematical sections.

If you think it's time you started the career you deserve, start it with us. Get your GED, enroll in our classes and make the best of what you have to offer. The future is yours.

GED Testing Service is a joint venture of the American Council on Education and Pearson VUE.
